Historically, these women worked alongside their husbands as rubber tappers, but remained anonymous and unrecognised, since only men were considered official members of the cooperative. Through a series of workshops led by Flavia Amadeu in 2022-2023, the women transformed their expectations of natural latex, from an industrial commodity to an expressive material.
